About Neurology

Department of Neurology focuses on diseases related to brain and surrounding tissue. Under the supervision of Neuro physician, the department is backed by a Brain Lab. Patients with seizure disorders, epilepsy and peripheral neurological problems are diagnosed with the help of Brain Lab.

Investigations routinely carried out are:

  • 1. EEG (Electroencephalogram)
  • 2. EMG (Electromyogram)
  • 3. NCS (Nerve Conduction Study)

A dedicated Stroke Team is available to look after emergency stroke cases where urgent

evaluation as well as prompt and precise treatment is required to improve outcomes.

Proper patient diagnosis and team work are important. The team comprises

of a Neuro physician, Neurosurgeon and Intensivist.
